Reacción Interacción
Reacción Interacción
Site specific, OpenArt_Space. Santiago, Chile.
August- Oct 2016
Site-specific work that directly interacts with light phenomena. The piece Reaction/Interaction is installed in a white cube where the space was painted in two contrasting colors; sky blue and red. The walls, at their intersection forming a 90-degree angle, are drawn and divided entirely through two triangles. Facing these triangles and supported on the continuous wall, a third metal element is found, which through a sequence of orderly crosses, is manually manipulated randomly under the pressure of some incisions.
It is a changing system where the steel invites the viewer to be an active agent, making the "outside" a fundamental part of the construction of its image, always changing, in motion, and in constant interaction. In turn, this same system intervenes in the space with color reflections, backlight, and optical phenomena where light acts from a fundamental and changing role.
